I never wanted to increase my net worth or get rich for the sake of just having money. I wanted to dramatically impact my life, my family's life and positively affect the people I came in contact with who wanted to do the same thing.
Our Story At A Glance
I am a husband and father of three awesome kids that are growing faster everyday. My entrepreneurial journey started about 12 years ago when I was involved in an MLM opportunity that tore my family and our finances apart.
I swore I would never put my family through that again. After that, my wife and I entered the “responsible, conservative and safe” corporate world. Most of my 15 year career has revolved around consulting business executives and entrepreneurs regarding the art of identifying, attracting and retaining top talent by communicating, mentoring and coaching effectively.
During the years that followed, my wife and I lived-out the daily grind, waking up in the early morning, getting the kids up and out the door working till late before coming home in time to kiss the kids and go to bed exhausted before doing it all over again. We were truly two ships passing in the night – all the time! Then a merger caused my wife to lose her job and we were devastated. Shortly after that, my company began the first of 3 rounds of layoffs. It wasn’t long before we were having trouble making house payments and the mortgage company began threatening foreclosure. It then hit me that there is never any true security in the corporate rat race which seems to only reward your loyalty by using you and discarding you, usually with little or no warning.
But Why This Opportunity?
I made the decision to explore entrepreneurial business models that would allow me to create my own security. I looked at franchising, real estate, starting my own business from scratch, but I didn’t have $50,000-500,000 to invest, nor did I have 6 months to a year to wait for the monetary fruits of my labor to become evident. That’s when I remember exclaiming, “Can anyone show me a legitimate cutting edge business opportunity??”
I then began to do my due-diligence with internet marketing as we had with previous business opportunities. My wife and I soaked up all the information we could and at the end of that process it was obvious to us exactly what we should do. Since learning the internet the hard way we have been able to support our family from working at home in a recession-proof industry… and we’re doing it together. I was amazed at how quickly our hard work paid off. You’ll learn that to be a common sentiment echoed by many. I do have to say that once the residuals begin to kick in, it’s simply an amazing ride!
